This growing mountain of plastic is a global problem and unless there is cross-border action between countries it is estimated that there will be more plastic than fish in the sea by 2050 – a development that we at Hide-a-lite do not stand behind. We are now taking care of plastic from the sea and turning it into new products. By manufacturing products from recycled material, we are helping to improve the Earth we live on. The following products are certified by the Control Union license, GRS.

GRS, Global Recycled Standard, is a voluntary international standard that ensures that the customer receives products that comply with relevant safety requirements and that this is checked by an independent party. The certification covers every stage of the manufacturing process and sets requirements for recycled content and traceability, as well as social and environmental procedures and chemical restrictions.
