In Oslo's subway system, the pace is high as passengers move through dark corridors. Here, lighting plays a crucial role in ensuring safety and orientation. The subway is a place where light truly makes a difference—not only by guiding people but also by creating a pleasant atmosphere in an otherwise relatively dim environment.
Visual and functional lighting that guides travelers.
The lighting is mounted in distinctive, eye-catching yellow frames that stand out with their shape and color. These frames also create a visual framework that enhances the lighting's effect and helps guide the flow of people through the station. With the installation of a total of 220 ReLine 1200 fixtures, replacing the previous lighting, we have created a brighter and more welcoming environment for all passengers. ReLine 1200 provides uniform and clear lighting, helping both locals and visitors navigate smoothly through the stations.
Significantly improved lighting environment
With ReLine 1200, Oslo's subway has gained an energy-efficient and sustainable solution that requires minimal maintenance for many years to come. The fixtures have a long lifespan—a critical advantage in an environment where downtime and maintenance can result in significant costs and logistical challenges. ReLine 1200 is thus an ideal solution for subway stations and other demanding environments, delivering reliable, powerful yet straightforward lighting to ensure a safe and attractive setting.
